I found this to be a great website that talks about different angles, frames, space, depth of field, and the rule of thirds. Here is a great quote from the website above: "The purpose of image composition is to create a visually compelling picture, a picture that evokes the interest of the viewer. A successful shot attracts the eye for a while". It is great to have a photo where the viewers eye can find the subject and then wonder throughout the picture without leaving the composition.

This is a website that shows different compositional schemes. I focus on the different schemes when setting up a drawing or painting, but I'm sure they can be used for photographs as well.
