Photoshop Color and Contrast 2


In this photo I selected each flower and made a separate layer for each. I went back to my original photo and changed it to black and white and increased the intensity of the gray scale for green. I then went back through each layer to erase the left over green from where I selected to leave just the flowers. I chose yellow and purple to saturate more to create this photo.

I used the same method as the flower, but I did not chose any colors to enhance.

  1. I like the simplicity that your picture portrays. It seems that you don't have to do too much to make the picture look more mysterious and focused. I plan to try this technique and follow your instruction!

  4. The flower photo is really great! The focal point being on the soft colors of the flowers without the distraction of the background gives the entire image a more relaxing quality! Great work!
