Photoshop Color and Contrast 1

This is a photo of my cousin. I first went into levels then tried auto. I decided I liked the way it looked so then I went into hue and saturation clicked on blue and increased the blue then increased the saturation. I also took out the cloud near her shoulder using the clone stamp tool.I thought I liked the photo before until I played with the color and now I like it a lot better.

With the shadow picture I used the clone stamp to get rid of the dark green bush in the right corner. I again went into levels and darkened the shadows because I did not like how auto looked. I then went into hue and saturation to change the green into a magenta and by increasing the saturation and hue the result is the second photo, Which is different.

  1. Nice Job! I really like the second picture of the shadows. I think that the red just makes the right POP to the photo!

  2. this is an excellent example of how you can change the mood of a work by changing the hue of the overall piece. Many times a simple change is all that is needed to get the desired effect you want.

    Good work!
