Portraits

Here are some portraits that I took of my cousins. I ended up taking several pictures because every time I took one photo they would all move, well run towards me so they could look at the picture on the camera's display. I had to set the camera on continuous shooting. I may post more pictures after I spend more time in photoshop this week.

  1. Tonia,

Someone must have taken the time to read the "tips and techniques" section from this week's reading!! You have a great series here that demonstrates several of the tools offered in our reading; I particularly the first photo of the cousins in movement pose and the photo with the single boy and his sunglasses!

    Nice work!

  2. Great series! I love the "two cool dudes" shot!! Too cute! The last one is a really great angle that draws the eye nicely up the photo. Great work!

  3. I agree with what Murph and Kari say! Your work is exceptional! I really like the angles of your shots and how everyone looks so natural. I find that I am having an issue with forced smiles. My uncooperative subjects look like they are in pain. LOL. Seriously though, this is really great work! Excellent job!!

  5. Although they are all superb my favorite is the little gentleman with the red sunglasses. This should be in a magazine! The mix between his expression, the colors, and the off-centering of the subject create an amazing shot.
